How to participate in the Ruby community?

The community section on the Ruby website has a lot of options for getting involved, but there are other initiatives and spaces that are not mentioned.

For example, there is an active community of Ruby users in Bluesky (Starter Pack) and Mastodon (Ruby Social). I also have enjoyed listening to these podcasts: RubyGems, Dead Code.

In what other places do you participate that you would recommend?

There’s a little Ruby chatroom on Matrix that I think it’s worth mentioning. It’s a little bit barren but discussions do happen there sometimes.
