I do an iced latte every day at home. Cold brew coffee, 3 ice cubes, and chobani creamer.

We buy roasted coffee beans here at home. Much nicer than supermarket brands.
I have the opinion that coffee is like wine. Different coffees have subtle nuances that can only be appreciated if we do not add sugar to it. No one adds sugar to wine, do they?
Some people add coke to the wine, so everything is possible.

espresso all the way! i’ve been brewing espresso since my brother gave me a hand-me-down Isomac Venus when i was still a junior in college
i upgraded to a QuickMill Andreja Premium a few years later when i had my own place, and 10 years later its CPU kicked the bucket and i had a hard time finding a replacement… so i decided finally to upgrade to my dream machine, so now i brew on a customized La Marzocco GS/3:
i tend to brew myself a new age cappuccino (i.e. just a flat white lol) in the morning shortly after i wake up, and then i’ll have a straight espresso later in the morning or early in the afternoon depending on when i get to it. i brewed medium roasts for ages but in the last couple years have gotten onto the light roast train (fruity/funky coffees just rule; i especially love anaerobics and interesting coferments). my two favorite roasters right now are probably Push X Pull in Portland/Seattle, and Hydrangea in Berkeley! i also just recently got a 49mm step-down basket, so i’ve been experimenting with that and seeing if they really do produce more consistently tasty espresso that’s easier to keep dialed in

spoiler: apparently you should skim the crema off of your espresso shot and STEAM the water with your steam wand; he says it makes a huge difference

Nice reading through this topic. I don’t take any coffee at all but my mother used to have a coffee farm and strange enough I never ever got to taste it. We were and continue to be more of Tea people(I don’t drink it myself either)

As a helpless coffee person I drink much more than I should. I guess it’s because of mom. My choice is any of the gourmet options of 3 Corações (brewed) + podewed milk, no sugar. However I’m not picky at all and will basically drink any kind of coffee that shows up ![]()
As another Turkish person I enjoy Turkish coffee on special occasions. My daily is just plain french press coffee but when I am out and about I order a flat white.
I really wish there was a place I could order Turkish coffee near me though.
